Trevor's Hope Initiative
Our Story
For thousands of parents and caregivers of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), this question is one of life’s greatest concerns.
We live with that question every day. Our son, Trevor, is 41 years old and has intellectual and developmental disabilities. As parents in our 70s, we understand firsthand the urgency of planning for the future—not only for Trevor, but for countless other adults with IDD whose families share the same hopes and fears.
That is why we have launched the Trevor’s Hope Initiative.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help create opportunities for adults with IDD through supportive housing, education, learning life-skills, employment opportunities,
and meaningful community connections.
Our goal is to raise monies to build a supportive neighborhood, a community where the IDD adults can continue to learn and enjoy life.
We believe every individual deserves a safe place to live, a place where they belong, and the opportunity to thrive.
